Who we are
This privacy policy applies to legendofgods.com and the Legend of Gods game (together, the “Service”), a free browser-based strategy game operated by the Legend of Gods team (“we”, “us”). You can reach us through the contact page.
Information we collect
Account information. When you register an account we collect your username, email address, and a hashed (never plain-text) version of your password. We also store your in-game progress, such as towns, heroes, armies, and in-game transactions.
Payments and offer wall transactions. Diamonds can be purchased directly or earned through third-party offer wall providers (advertising and survey networks). Payments themselves are processed by the respective store or provider; we never receive your full payment card details. We receive only the transaction identifier and credited amount needed to grant diamonds to your account.
Automatically collected data. Like most websites we log IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security, debugging, and abuse prevention. The Service is delivered through Cloudflare (CDN and security), which processes technical data for this purpose.
Cookies and analytics. We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage of the site; you can opt out through your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tools.
Comments. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata (including IP address and browser user agent) are stored and checked through an automated spam detection service.
Why we process data
We process personal data to provide and operate the game and your account (performance of a contract); to process diamond purchases and offer wall credits (performance of a contract); to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests); to understand aggregate site usage (consent or legitimate interests, depending on your region); and to comply with legal obligations.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Any content age rating shown for the game refers to the content, not to the intended audience.
Retention
We keep account and game data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be retained longer.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us via the contact page and we will respond within the statutory period.
Third parties
Payments and offer wall credits involve the respective third-party providers under their own privacy policies; we encourage you to read them before completing an offer or purchase.
Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and least-privilege access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
